ablution bowl... keeping the spirit of washing alive
Muslims undergo a purification ritual before they pray called abulution, this involves washing certain parts of the body such as the hands, face and arms. The primary reason behind it is a spiritual purification with physical cleaning being a secondary aim.
The ‘ablutionbowl’ is a mobile and portable abulution solution, it allows people to perform the ritual at work without having to go to the mosque place of worship, while still retaining the core values of spirituality, purity and well being in the ritual.
The water is placed in a small water bottle and using gravity it is turn 180 degrees to allow the water to fall and then turned back to finish.
